The tour guide will meet you at your Shanghai hotel and escort you to the railway station to catch your high-speed train to Beijing. Your Beijing guide will welcome you at the exit of the railway station.

Visit Summer Palace upon arrival, which is a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. Composed mainly of Longevity Hill (Wanshou Shan) and Kunming Lake, the park harmoniously combines the pavilions, corridors, halls, and temples with the natural landscape.

Pick up from your hotel in the morning. Take a visit to the Temple of Heaven which is a complex of religious buildings situated in southeastern Beijing. It served as a sacred site for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to perform rituals to ensure good harvests.
Visitors also can experience the famous Echo Wall, known for its unique acoustic properties where whispers can travel along the curved surface.
The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is one of the most well-preserved and less crowded parts of the wall near Beijing. Take a cable car up to the wall for a quicker and more convenient experience.

Begin your day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, which sits to its north, separating it from the Forbidden City. Explore the vast square, see monuments like the Monument to the People's Heroes, and learn about its historical events.
Continue your trip to the Forbidden City, Marvel at the grandeur of this ancient complex filled with majestic halls, courtyards, and gardens. Discover the imperial history of China as you wander through the halls that once housed emperors.
After lunch, Explore Hutong charming lanes on foot, you will walk through the narrow alleys, as well as visit a local family to discover the traditional lifestyle and how these unique residential houses and culture are protected. You can also ascend the Bell Tower to have a bird’s-eye view of the hutong area. The total walking distance of this tour is about 800 meters.
