You will make your way to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (Note: if you need the transfer service, just tell our travel advisors). We will provide you with E-tickets, you will just use your passport to board the train.
Upon your arrival in Hangzhou, your local guide will meet you at the train station. The first stop is Linyin Temple. This is an ancient building complex with many exquisite pagodas and Buddhist grottoes constructed on rocks or cliffs in 328 AD to house Buddhist materials.
In front of the temple is Feilai Feng (Flying Peak) which is believed that it was flown from India to Hangzhou with numerous Buddha images on it. It takes around half an hour to ascend to the top of the peak. The scenery on the mountain road is charming.
Have your lunch in a local restaurant well-known for its Hangzhou cuisine and later head over to the West Lake, take a walk around the grand lake and surrounding nature gardens to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up in the hotel lobby to Six Harmonies Pagoda. The pagoda was built in 970 AD. Climb up to the top of the pagoda to enjoy the view if you wish.
Move on to Qinghefang Pedestrian Street. Traditional businesses such as Chinese Medicine Pharmacies and tea houses continue to operate as they have for centuries.
The last is to head to Hu Qingyu Hall Chinese Traditional Herbal Medicine Museum located at the Drum Tower Grand Street. The Museum’s exhibition halls introduce the origin, development, and application of traditional Chinese medicine and its role in the world history of medicine.
In the afternoon, the guide and the driver will take you to the train station for your Suzhou trip which takes 1 1/2 hours. Your Suzhou guide and the driver will meet you at the train station to take you to your hotel.

The best of Suzhou starts from the Humble Administrators Garden. A classic Chinese garden, the Humble Administrator's Garden is also the biggest in Suzhou and was built in 1509 during the Ming Dynasty. The focus is on the water surrounded by numerous elegant pavilions, towers, and tranquil walkways. Unique aspects of the building are provided by the different windows and doors giving different angles from which to see the same landscape.
You will then enjoy a rickshaw ride through Suzhou Old Street and a local market where real Suzhou representatives are.
Later continue the trip to Tongli Water Town, walk off the beaten path, and see the real life of locals, beautiful gardens, and ancient canals.
When the tour comes to an end, the guide and the driver will escort you to the train station to catch your train to Shanghai. Arriving in Shanghai, you are free to arrange your time and your next stop. If you need the pickup service, just tell our travel advisors when booking the tour.
