Tour Description

The richness of China's imperial history is best evidenced in Beijing. Start your tour at the Temple of Heaven which is a religious site with 3 main constructions to boast, including the central Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests which captures most of the attention. Continue to visit the Tiananmen Square which is China's largest public square. This is the site of various political instances in history. Close by you can find the Monument to the People's Heroes, Mausoleum of Mao Zedong¸ Zhengyangmen Gate Tower, the National Museum of China, and much more. Finally, reach the goal of your tour, the Forbidden City. The layout of the imperial complex is rectangle and there are more than 980 wooden buildings in total as well as numerous corridors, pavilions, collections, towers, gates, gardens, and more. Lunch is included at a local restaurant and at the end of the day, you will be taken back to your hotel in the city as you wish.
