Overall, the trip was enjoyable and eye-opening to me. The guide, Danzeng is interesting. He doesn't speak Chinese , educated in India and speaks Tibetan, English and French. I learn a lot from him about the Tibetan culture.

I have been back for about 2 weeks. Still sorting out the pictures taken. Lots of them. Tibet is indeed a wonderful place to visit - its culture, landscape and the people. The most challenging is the long distance of travels between one town to another and of course the high altitude.

The only gripe I have is the hotel in Shigatse - Vanray International Resort - old, musty and service is poor. Please do not recommend.
