The guide in Chengdu efficiently organised a car and driver for us after we arrived. We would highly recommend the Sanxingdui Museum just outside Chengdu. The Fraser Suites is a very good hotel conveniently located. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our guide in Lhasa, Tensing, was very informative about the local culture and very helpful when we became ill.

We very much enjoyed our trip to China.

The guide in Chengdu efficiently organised a car and driver for us after we arrived. We would highly recommend the Sanxingdui Museum just outside Chengdu. The Fraser Suites is a very good hotel conveniently located. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our guide in Lhasa, Tensing, was very informative about the local culture and very helpful when we became ill.We would however suggest that you strongly recommend to clients flying direct into Lhasa that they do nothing at all but relax for at least two days, if not three. We both suffered from altitude sickness which meant that we did not see as much as we would have liked. We should have stayed longer to allow time to acclimatise.

The train trip was exceptionally good, very comfortable, and we were glad to have oxygen in the cabin.

Sarah the guide in Xi'An was a very friendly and helpful young woman, very conscientious about making sure everything she did for us went smoothly. She also suggested an excellent Cantonese restaurant for us to try, Canton Palace, which was near to the hotel.

The train trip from Xi'An to Guangzhou was excellent. Again the train was very comfortable and fast!

On arrival in Guangzhou we could not find the guide. She said there were two exits off the platform and she was at a different one from the one we were at. We eventually called the number for the local agent and she found us. Guangzhou South Railway Station is VERY big so we would recommend that you nominate a particular spot in the station to wait for the guide if she is not at the gate when the travellers come off the platform.
