Walter's Feedback on 29-Day China Tour

All the guides are good, especially Tashi in Tibet. He was always pleasant, considerate, patient, polite, on-time, informative and 'always there’. We had a variety of drivers, but overall the driver in Tibet was outstanding. His skill in driving around and through the various road conditions was just great. In China, we had three female drivers and they certainly outperformed their male counter-parts.

Good Morning Angela,

I thought it be very prudent to let know of my recent experience in obtaining information and booking a journey to China. I have been going on different journeys each year for the past 8 years and in 2007 I travelled to China and hiked along the remote sections of the Great Wall for 3 weeks. The booking at that time and indeed every other journey I have undertaken have been booked through an Australian Travel Organisation. This is the first time I have broken with that process. During my 2007 journey I experienced the warmth and helpfulness rural people of China, so when it came that I would return for another journey I felt a little bit easier dealing with a China Organisation. In addition, over the past 3 years I have developed a great friendship with a workmate who has recently returned to China and is now living in Shanghai.

The journey this year was developed with the assistance of my friend in Shanghai, taking in parts of China I wanted to visit and experience. Therefore my journey was very specific. I sent my itinerary to 3 travel organisations in China and I must say Grace Wang of China Highlights was just outstanding. Grace came back to me within 24 hours and then developed the whole journey. When I wanted to add Hangzhou onto the end of the journey it was not a problem and Grace just sorted out travel requirement still finishing back in Shanghai so I could have a couple of days with my friend.

I found the Grace was very professional, understanding and extremely helpful. Grace has been able to answer all questions raised and has been able to work through the specific journey requirements - the journey was differently not off the shelf. Grace needs to be congratulated for an outstanding job.
