Tour Description

Our tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby in Shanghai and head to Wuxi which takes about 1 1/2 hours.Wuxi city has a history of over 3500 years and is on the Grand Canal and well-known for the stunning Taihu Lake. After arriving in Wuxi, your first stop is Xihui Park, which has a number of sites constructed during from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. It also includes a museum for clay figures which is worth visiting. Lunch in a local restaurant is followed by a boat ride on the picturesque Taihu Lake. Gliding on the quaint lake, you will also go to the landmark of the Lake—Yuantouzhu (Turtle Head Island) resembling a turtle raising its head. Next head over to Tang City, which is surrounded by beautiful natural landscape and has a number of historical sites. When your Wuxi trip comes to an end, you will be taken back to your Shanghai hotel.
