Two days is perfect for a general experience in Xian. On this tour, you will see the famous "Entombed Warriors" of China at the site of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, ancient Xi'an city wall which is renowned for its historical significance, and much more!
On arrival in Xi'an, we will transfer you from the airport to your hotel in the city.
After settling your things, you will begin your experiences in Xi'an. The Shaanxi History Museum is a great place to get your bearings for the city as it houses relics that date back to the earliest moments of Chinese civilization. The wide collections are part of 370,000 exhibit items with some artifacts that come from prehistoric times! There are 4 main showcase halls to explore with your guide, and a large portion of the Shaanxi History Museum boasts items and works of art from the height of the Tang Dynasty.
After a fine meal, you will tour the historic Xi'an city wall which is one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls. Your visit will include a tour by bike at the top of the Xian city walls.

You will visit the infamous site of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses today. The tomb was unexpectedly discovered in 1974. The terracotta soldiers, chariots, horses, and other military style relics statues found buried deep in the earth have a unique facial structure or detail. The on-site museum is a great place to gain further understanding of the story of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant which serves greal local dishes. Continue your tour to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda afterwards. The Buddhist pagoda was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and once housed important sutras and statues of Buddha that came from India to China. There are 7 stories in total after being rebuilt due to earthquakes throughout history. Visitors can climb a winding set of stairs all the way to the top, from which you will be granted wonderful views of the entire city.
We will take you to Xi'an airport for your outbound flight at the end of your tour. Thank you for exploring Xi'an with us!
We use different hotels for different tour classes while the itinerary is the same. Deluxe Class is usually staying at a 5-star hotel, Superior Class at a 4-star hotel and Tourist Class at a 3-star level hotel. The prices for one person are based on sharing twin hotel rooms with another guest. A supplement is necessary if you want to book single rooms. And the prices may rise during national holidays, such as the National Day (September 30th to October 6th) and Chinese New Year (late January or early February)

They know the best places to visit, can give you advice on restaurants that serve great local food, the best places to shop, or theaters for the best shows in town.
